Walk of Hope

The Walk of Hope is an annual 10km fun run and walk that raises funds for education in developing countries.

Join us on Saturday the 25th of March 2017, for a beautiful coastal walk starting and finishing at Saltwater Creek Reserve.

You can choose to do the full 10km Walk, a 5km option or a family friendly route of 2km.

Location: Saltwater Creek Reserve, Long Jetty, NSW

Time: Check-in/Registrations will open from 2:00 pm. The walk will begin at 3:30 pm.

Fun and festivities will follow the walk with food and drink available, live entertainment and activities for the kids!

Why Walk?

We walk (and work!) to improve education resources across Rwanda, Cambodia, Kenya, Uganda and India.

This year need to raise $100,000 for the development of our very first Teacher Training Centre in Rwanda, and to continue education training, and health and vocational skills for adults and children across East Africa and Asia.

The Teacher Training Centre will enable us to establish our headquarters for Teacher Training, giving us a permanent presence in Rwanda. This will dramatically improve HOPE’s ability to serve the people of Rwanda, through accredited training, professional development and capacity building for Rwandan teachers, NGO staff and medical professionals. The Training Centre resources will also be available for vocational skills training for local communities.
