Education Team Departs for Uganda

The HOPE Team - Friday, April 13, 2012

One day until our first team for 2012 leaves Sydney to work with two outstanding organisations in Uganda: Childcare Kitgum Servants (CKS) and Watoto! CKS has 10,000 students enrolled  and we will be conducting demonstration lessons and teacher workshops for English and Mathematics. Medical training will also be provided to nurses at the school clinic and Paediatric Wing on site. Watoto operates schools for the education of the thousands of orphans in their care in Uganda. We will provide training in ICT, special needs education and student-centred learning. Stay tuned to learn more about these growing partnerships!

Hi Hope Ed Uganda Team! So please to hear you have arrived in Uganda. Know that the Hope Ed Cambodia team prayed for you at our debrief on the weekend and will continue to hold you in prayer. How incredible that you are the team that kick-start training
and capacity building of communities by coning alongside existing organisations. I am so proud to be a volunteer with you for Hope Global. Cheers, Anna
