The HOPE Team - Tuesday, September 29, 2015

Our Kenya team leader, Robyn has sent us a very brief and quick update of their last couple of days. We are so grateful for all their hard work and dedication.

"It's been a hot, humid, very full couple of days doing teacher training in Awasi, with just a half day left tomorrow and then we drive down to Uriri. We will be there from Wednesday through to Friday afternoon before we we return to Kisumu and fly to Nairobi on Saturday.

Lorna is doing an amazing job with almost boundless energy, she has been delivering the training whilst  I have been operating the data projector and laminating pages and pages of phonics resources for each organisation.

We are grateful for the comfort of the hotel, clean water (and hot too!), and a comfy bed by the end of the day.

We also had an absolutely brilliant time training teachers at Tenderfeet in Nairobi.  They were so appreciative they made us a banner.  We are looking forward to next year, God willing, of seeing the results of what they have learnt and put into practice.

Bye for now!"
