Meet our new Ambassadors

The HOPE Team - Wednesday, November 30, 2016

Our Youth Ambassadors for 2016- 2017 have been selected! It is our pleasure to introduce you to the newest additions to the Hope Global family!  Maddy, Amelia and Tanisha are exceptional women who have big hearts for social justice and seeing the world change.  Today they introduce themselves and share their reflections on being selected as Youth Ambassadors..

"Hey guys! My name is Maddy, I'm 17 and just recently graduated from Green Point Christian College! I'm super passionate about acting, singing, adventuring and most of all, making an impact on the world around me. I can't even begin to express how excited I am to represent Hope Global as a Youth Ambassador and go to Rwanda in January! I'm so expectant that this experience will be completely enriching and life changing. My goal is to shed light on the bigger issues at hand and bless those who need it most. I can't wait for the adventure ahead and I am so grateful for this incredible opportunity."

"Hi! My name is Amelia and I have the blessing of being one of HOPE: Global's Youth Ambassadors this coming year. I have always loved meeting new people and discovering new places. And recently I have been overwhelmed with a longing to travel and help those who aren't able to help themselves. This is why I became interested in HOPE: Global and the awesome work that they do and why I'm so incredibly excited to journey to Rwanda with the rest of the team."

"Hi my name is Tanisha and I am 16 years of age. It has been a dream and passion of mine to travel to Africa to serve and love on the community that is so vastly different to that of my own. I can't wait to experience the journey with Hope Global as a Youth Ambassador, as we share the same values and passion."

The Ambassadors started their program in October and have been learning about the work of Hope Global, how to run fundraising event and preparing for their trip to Rwanda in January. When in Rwanda, Ambassadors will learn about Rwandan culture and it's history, run holiday kids programs at two different schools and visit incredible sights of Rwanda. Stay tuned to hear more about their journey. For more information about the Youth Ambassador Program, click here
